Schedule: M-TH or Tue-Fri 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM depending on department needs.

Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision, a High Reach Forklift Operator (aka Standup Forklift Operator) utilizes a forklift while standing, using hand controls to raise, lower and extend the forks to reach pallets in the racking system. This position is responsible for the safe and proper operation of the equipment to pick orders, load and unload materials and deliver them to the designated areas in the facility.

Primary Accountabilities:

Deliver palletized products to the designated area using a High Reach forklift, in a timely and safe mannerLocate or relocate product within the department as directedUnload and load trucks when requiredBuild or re-stack pallet loads as neededUtilize the warehouse management system that manages product inventory within the facilityInspect forklift and related equipment daily and complete daily logManage forklift battery watering systemBack up High Reach forklift operators in other departments as assignedCommunicate with leads, supervisors, managers, and customersIdentify and/or troubleshoot issues with equipment or with product locationsEscalate issues that cannot be solved to the appropriate parties in accordance with guidelines

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma (or its equivalent) required1-3 years At least 1 year of work experience in a warehouse or production job; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position requiredLegally authorized to work in the U.S.Ability to operate or learn to operate the following equipment: Order pickerHigh Reach Forklift, as well as Single Reach and Double Reach ForkliftScan gun or gladiator
