1st Shift Lab Technician

Our client, a leading aerospace processing entity, is seeking a 1st Shift Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting various analytical and physical testing functions. The ideal candidate will have strong accountability, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** 1st Shift Lab Technician
**Location:** Lynwood, CA
**Pay Range:** $18-$24/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Create monthly lab orders for physical testing and prepare metal specimens for testing.
+ Perform both analytical and physical tests, including corrosion testing, paint adhesion, and hydrogen embrittlement tensile tests.
+ Generate test reports outlining testing procedures and results of internally performed tests.
+ Review testing records for accuracy and ensure results are within specified limits.
+ Communicate with shop personnel regarding issues with tanks, test specimens, and operational procedures.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
+ 2+ years of experience in Chemical Processing Laboratories.
+ Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
+ Strong adaptability to changes in the workplace.
+ Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within deadlines.
