Job Title: 1st Shift - Machine Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM. This position, located in Manheim, PA, offers the potential for career progression through three levels. The role involves operating various machines to produce, inspect, and package drive belts, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

ResponsibilitiesOperate punch presses and assembly machines to produce belts and belt segments, making necessary adjustments to meet quality criteria.Inspect drive belts using motorized inspection stations, visually checking for defects and maintaining an ink jet printer.Set up and operate semi-automatic coiling machines to package belts, ensuring accurate disassembly and proper labeling of finished products.Monitor product quality by using appropriate tools and techniques, performing required quality checks, and recording information on work orders.Support continuous improvement efforts within the team.Restring stretching equipment as needed.Perform additional tasks within the department as required.Maintain and promote company values and behaviors at all times.Essential SkillsExperience in production, machine operation, general labor, assembly, inspection, or CNC operations.High school diploma (required if the candidate does not have relevant experience).Strong attention to detail and quality standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma is not required for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience.Preferred experience in production or machine operation.Open to candidates with good work experience in other industries who have a genuine interest in manufacturing and the ability to learn quickly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is within a manufacturing environment where safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes/boots are required. The facility is climate-controlled, but it may feel slightly warmer due to the molding machines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manheim, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.47 - $20.47/hr.
