**Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description** Perform responsive maintenance repairs to extrusion and other production machinery. Inspect and perform PM's as needed for multiple departments. Rebuild and overhaul complete machinery. Maintain and repair plant systems including plumbing, chiller/tower system, material dryers, compressors, and pumps. Perform basic electrical repairs (not a necessary skill, nice to have). Instruct and guide production employees through troubleshooting to maintain quality and efficiency. **Hard Skills** + Maintenance repairs on extrusion and production machinery + PM inspections for multiple departments + Rebuilding and overhauling machinery + Repairing plant systems (plumbing, chiller/tower system, material dryers, compressors, pumps) + Basic electrical repairs (optional) **Soft Skills** + Instructing and guiding production employees + Troubleshooting mechanical and operator issues. **Work Environment** 1st Shift - 7am-3pm.
