1st Shift Material Coordinator

We boldly go. **Position Summary:** The Material Coordinator is responsible for any of the following: coordinating picking work, part replenishment, material checks, line part availability help, outage escalations, and problem-solving. They manage all paperwork that flows through the warehouse/supermarket and ensure the systems are up to date and accurate. They actively partner with fabrication, material planning, and assembly to minimize outages and solve shortages. **Responsibilities:** + Ensure all triggers, signals, and paperwork are used and in place. + Assist with Kanban database maintenance and execution internal and external + Maintain standard work related to material flow systems and processes + Lead Kanban set up and execution process to ensure part availability + Communicate, document, escalate and track part shortages + Assist in all material flow needs that arise + Other duties as assigned **Key Competencies:** + Problem Solving: Uses data analysis and excellent processes to help predict problem areas, identify areas of opportunity, and update standard work + Analytical: Superior analytical skills + Computer: High level proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Access, Excel, and Outlook (should have excel skills such as VLOOKUP’s and other intermediate excel knowledge) + Communication: Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills **Other Requirements:** + Must have a valid SC driver’s license and acquire a PIV license for sit down/stand up lift, Yard Dog spotter truck, and golf cart. **This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive** We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
