**Job Title: 1st Shift Production Operator** **Job Description** As a 1st Shift Production Operator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, performing your own machine setups, and operating the brake press machine in the fabrication area. Our company is a steel supplier that offers a variety of services to meet client needs, including the bending of steel. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints. + Perform machine setups based on blueprints. + Operate the brake press machine. + Work in the fabrication area to process steel. + Ensure the proper tooling is installed and the machine is correctly set up. + Track production output using AS400 (ERP Software). **Essential Skills** + 6+ months experience operating a machine in a production environment. + Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and decimals. + Ability to use a computer and familiarity with AS400 (ERP Software). + Experience with fabrication, blueprints, turret and punch press. + Familiarity with micrometers and calipers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Technical education in machining or fabrication. + Experience performing machine setups, including tooling and machine adjustments. + Ability to read blueprints for machine setup and part creation. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a first shift schedule from 6am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, with no required overtime.
