**Job Title: 1st Shift- Machine operator- $22/hr-- Start ASAP!!** **Job Description** Operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials in a precise manner to create flavor products. Ensure understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures relevant to the role. Utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling. Use computer, scan gun, or other tools and processes to correctly match ingredients to shop orders. Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during the production process. Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment. Develop an understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, swabbing of equipment, and follow policies surrounding Quality Control needs. Perform other duties as assigned. **Responsibilities** + Operate equipment to utilize raw ingredient materials accurately. + Ensure understanding and adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures. + Utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling. + Match ingredients to shop orders using computer, scan gun, or other tools and processes. + Follow procedures to verify and record information during production. + Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment. + Develop and follow Quality Control policies for sampling, product testing, and equipment swabbing. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment. + Knowledge of machine operating and production. + Strong emphasis on safety. + Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing of products. + Knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations. + Ability to follow procedures and directions to identify products and follow formulas. + Ability to read, write, and understand English. + Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs on a regular basis. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. + Good attitude and ability to learn. + Motivation. **Why Work Here?** One of the largest flavor manufacturers with significant upward growth potential.
