$19.30 / Hour

Responsible for completing product quality checks. Conducts routine testing and analysis of production work. Quality checks are typically reviewed for accuracy. Documents quality control issues as needed. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision.

Reports To
 Manufacturing and Quality Engineering Manager or designee
Education/Experience
 High School Diploma or Equivalent
 Minimum of 2 years of experience in the inspection field or manufacturing using standard inspection equipment
and prints to determine conformance to requirements
 ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or equivalent experience preferred. Certification should be acquired within one
year of employment in this position
Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies
 Ability to lift 50 pounds
 Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting
 Must have vision correctable to 20/20
 Ability to distinguish color
 Thorough understanding of GD & T, including formal training
 Understand the use and limitations of standard inspection, measuring and test equipment
 Basic math skills
 Basic computer skills, preferably experience with Microsoft suite
 Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
 Must be available for all shifts
 Sufficient gage knowledge to support calibration, create quality documentation and support gage studies
Responsibilities
 Compliance with all quality system procedures and company safety requirements
 Advocating quality principles and practices
 Good housekeeping
 Assist in identifying and qualifying new inspection equipment
 Programming all inspection equipment
 Develop training materials and train on use of inspection equipment
 Providing support and troubleshoot measurement equipment as needed
 Working with the Material Review Board to resolve customer and supplier quality issues
 Assisting with the development of inspection plans and various quality documents. This will include IIS, First
Article Inspections, C of Cs, SPC maintenance and reporting, and others as needed
 Review and verification of supplier submitted First Article parts and reports
 Receiving, In Process and Final Inspection activities as needed to support production
 Support calibration technician as needed
 Train and mentor employees as needed
