1st Shift Receiving Clerk (Pay- $18)
**Job Title: 1st Shift Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term receiving clerk/warehouse worker for the first shift. The role involves receiving and restocking inventory, dispatching, and managing overstock. **Responsibilities** + Receive and restock inventory + Load and unload materials from trucks + Break down boxes and package items for shipment + Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders + Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed + Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry (rolling stairs may range from 7-15 steps long) **Essential Skills** + Experience with picking, RF scanners, packing, packaging, pallet jack, unloading, loading, and order picking + Familiarity with warehouse inventory and shipping & receiving + Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds + Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders, including a 15 ft stair ladder when needed + Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English + Ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms, and occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Self-motivated and able to work individually + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment **Why Work Here?** Employees receive a $0.50 increase upon going direct, and will be trained on forklift operation, leading to an additional dollar increase. The company offers medical, dental, and vision benefits. **Work Environment** The noise level in the work environment is usually high due to forklifts and other machinery running through the facility. The first shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Employees must wear plain shirts, jeans (without holes), and closed-toed shoes. Logos for beer, alcohol, etc., are not allowed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
