**HIRING!!!!! $18/HR - 1st Shift Shipping Clerk**
**Job Description**
+ A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker for the 1st shift, from 5:30 AM to 2 PM.
+ The ideal candidate will be responsible for various shipping and warehouse duties, ensuring the smooth operation of the distribution process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive and restock inventory, dispatch, and manage overstock.
+ Load and unload materials from trucks.
+ Break down boxes and package items for shipment.
+ Use order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders.
+ Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.
+ Package items for shipment.
+ Pick orders utilizing stairs to reach material for the automotive industry (rolling stairs may range from 7-15 steps long).
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with picking, RF scanners, packing, packaging, pallet jacks, unloading, loading, order picking, inventory, and shipping and receiving.
+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
+ Comfortable using rolling safety ladders, about 5-7 steps (occasionally 15 ft stair ladder).
+ Ability to speak, read, and write English.
+ Able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.
+ Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat.
+ Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
+ Capable of working independently.
**Why Work Here?**

**Work Environment**
The work environment is usually loud due to forklifts and other machinery running through the facility. The dress code requires plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes. The position is for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
