Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a 1st Shift Tool Maker to join their team. As a Tool Maker, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** 1st Shift Tool Maker **Location:** Germantown, WI **Pay Range:** $25 - $32 per hour **What's the Job?** + Create and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used within the manufacturing process. + Study blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan the sequence of operations for fabricating tools. + Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. + Setup and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled machine tools to shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes. + Conduct test runs with completed tools to ensure that parts meet specifications and make adjustments as necessary. **What's Needed?** + High School Diploma/GED equivalent required; certificate from college or technical school desirable. + Three to five years of tool room experience preferred. + Knowledge and understanding of all tool room related equipment and methods. + Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids. + Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. + Training offered to enhance skills and knowledge in tool making. + Collaborative team atmosphere that values your contributions. + Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team. + Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
