**Job Title: 1st Shift-Warehouse Worker- $19/hr-- Hiring ASAP!!** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking 1st shift warehouse associate. The position requires a start time of 7:30 am, but flexibility to start at 8 am is necessary. This role involves processing orders and moving boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. This is a highly physical job that includes manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. The ideal candidate must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing between 10-50 lbs regularly without assistance and operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces. **Responsibilities** + Scan correct boxes. + Perform accurate order pulling while meeting productivity metrics. + Pay attention to detail. + Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods. + Work without assistance to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation. + Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders. + Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes. + Operate hand-held scanners. + Balance on ladders. + Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance for prolonged periods. + Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids. + Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts. + Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids. **Essential Skills** + General labor + Order pulling + RF scanner operation + Order handling + Material handling + Loading + Picking + Pallet jack operation + Order picking + Unloading **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel-toed boots - Required **Why Work Here?** Employees will receive pay increases and benefit from union membership. **Work Environment** Warehouse, non-climate controlled. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
