Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team! All shifts are available, Monday to Friday, with occasional adjustments to Monday to Thursday. The pay range for this position is $18-24/hour based off experience and interview. The primary responsibility will be welding steel staircases, railings, and other structural components for buildings. The role involves grinding and performing repair welds on finished handrails, utilizing a hand grinder and polisher, as well as moving and loading products after shipments are completed.
Weld steel staircases, railings, and other structural components.Grind and perform repair welds on finished handrails.Utilize hand grinders and polishers in addition to welding equipment.Move and load products after shipments are completed.Handle materials including steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret construction and production blueprints.Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.Experience with structural steel and steel fabrication.Skilled in using fixtures and performing precision work.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with aluminum welding is a plus.Strong attention to detail and work ethic.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent teamwork and accountability.Why Work Here?Enjoy team lunches with food trucks and opportunities for pay increases when transitioning to a direct hire. This is a very fast-paced work environment where everyone is expected to stay on task to meet shipment deadlines. The team is direct and holds each other accountable, fostering a culture of hard work and excellence. The role supports the miscellaneous steel department and fits best for individuals with a 'work first' attitude.
