Position Summary: The Die Room Attendant plays a critical role as a part of our press operations team. This role is responsible for preparing and receiving dies, maintaining ingredients and ensuring the die room & sifter area are sanitized. Duties and Responsibilities: · General sanitation of die room and the third-floor sifter areas daily · Follow Master Sanitation Schedule for the die room and third floor sifter area · Prepare and receive dies from a production schedule · Operate all die room and ingredient metering systems · Add ingredients and record accurate documentation of lot numbers and quantities. · Clean production equipment as requested by the press operators · Participate in food safety and safety audits of the assigned work areas · Conduct visual reading of ingredient levels for replacement needs · Assist press operators with tasks when requested · Provide material requirement lists to maintain the sanitation of the assigned department areas · Partner with company leadership to proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of: safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation · Other duties, as assigned Education and Experience Required: · Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution · Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: · Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. · Ability to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: · Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand and walk for 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to reach up shoulders for 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to climb on and off a ladder for 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to work in a dusty environment for 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to work in small spaces for 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to do simple grasping, fine manipulation and feeling for 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to lift up-to 50+ pounds for 3+ hours per shift · Must be able to walk for 6+ hours per shift · Must be able to work in high heat/humidity for 6+ hours per shift · Must be able to push and pull for 6+ hours per shift · Must be able to lift up-to 10 pounds for 6+ hours per shift · Must be able to wear a respirator, as needed · Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, distinguish objects and equipment visually
