In this entry-level rotational engineering role within the Dow Coatings Business, you will be poised to take on challenging projects and learn best practices and processes through which you will acquire business-critical competencies. ABOUT OPERATIONS:
As a New College Graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, you will be part of the Dow Operations function, which translates business strategies into operational priorities and results. Your job may include a broad range of responsibilities in a variety of different work settings such as chemical plant safety and environmental performance, process operation, optimization, modification, maintenance, and technology implementation. Engineers must use sound technical judgment to enable safe and efficient plant operations. We combine world-class expertise, future-focused technologies, and sustainability to solve global issues. ABOUT YOUR ROTATION:
The candidate will participate in a 2-Year (24-month) rotational experience in the coatings business. It begins with an 8-month rotational assignment at one of our primary U.S. coating facilities [Bristol/Croydon (PA), Deer Park (TX), Hayward (CA), Kankakee (IL), or Knoxville (TN)]. This is followed by a 2nd rotation, where you will relocate to a different U.S. coatings facility. This is followed by a 3rd rotational assignment where you will return to your initial Coatings location for another 8-month period.
Based on business needs, there is the possibility that you will be consulted on a 4th rotational assignment or permanent engineering role at a Coatings facility based on needs of the coatings business or you may choose to seek other opportunities within Dow. These rotational sequences could change slightly based on the needs and priorities within the business and would be discussed with you as they arise.

You will fill one of several technical resource roles where you will provide technical support to plant operating personnel to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Key responsibilities may include such items as manufacturing process troubleshooting and problem solving, preventive maintenance, yield and process improvements, waste reduction, safety enhancements, process control, cost optimization, project management and implementation, equipment design, and new technology implementation.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. A graduation date of no later than September 2025.A minimum requirement for this US-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis.
