Description of Work Unit
The International Studies Program is an interdisciplinary undergraduate major within the College of Liberal Arts engaging International Affairs, Geography, Political Science, History, Anthropology, Economics, Foreign Languages and Literatures, and other fields.

Position Summary
The International Studies Program hires temporary, part-time instructors from an applicant pool for fall, spring, and/or summer terms to teach core curriculum courses, including approaches to globalization, research methods, and the International Studies capstone seminar.

Required Job Qualifications
+ A master’s degree in a related field.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of multiple world regions.
+ College-level teaching experience.
Preferred Job Qualifications
+ Experience teaching interdisciplinary subjects
+ Experience teaching courses in International or Global Studies
+ A Ph.D. in a related field
+ Ability to advance Department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion through teaching and outreach
+ Advanced proficiency of a non-English language
