2025-2026 Library Media Teacher- Probationary LOCATION: Secondary Schools EFFECTIVE: 2025-2026 School Year WORK YEAR: 10-Month REPORTS TO: Principal and Assistant Principals RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: + Providing students with an enriched library environment containing a wide variety of print and media materials. + Collaborating with teachers to design and deliver information, literacy, and research skills instruction to students. + Teaching students how to effectively search for, evaluate, and use information from various sources. + Assisting students in developing skills to use reference materials to complete class assignments. + Integrating instructional technology tools and resources into the library to enhance learning and research opportunities. + Cataloging, organizing, and maintaining the library collection, including physical and digital resources. + Implementing effective circulation procedures to ensure access to materials for both students and staff. + Facilitating overall operation of the library.
