About the Role

University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

Internship Period: 9 June 2025 to 15 August 2025

The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and develop:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Finance,

In the Integrated Reporting team, you may be involved in:

Finance closing & consolidation processesFinancial Reporting and analyticsInternal Controls and governance process for the group Project support and coordinationBudgeting cycle for this team

In the Management Reporting & Planning team, you may be involved in:

User requirement collection, testing and rollout of the Group-wide finance management information systemData verification and preparation of management reportsStrategic planning template revamp and budget data verification

In the Group Sourcing team, you may be involved in

Project coordination, such as project progress tracking and prioritizationData collection & data analysis Process analysis and reengineering, such as process mapping and updates

In the Group Taxation team, you may be involved in

Direct tax reporting (e.g., Interim tax disclosure note, effective tax rate analysis and other Group Tax deliverables, etc)Direct tax compliance (e.g., HK profits tax return filing)Various tax projects

In the Group CFO Office team, you may be involved in

Strategic initiatives supportData collection and preparation of management reportsCorporate communication & event organisation

The opportunity will equip the candidates with better understanding in the head office finance function of a large world leading insurance organisation.

What you will need:

Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of studyExcellent teammate and curious learnerAbility to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environmentStrong command of written and spoken English and ChineseStrong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
