About the Role
University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.Internship Period: 9 June 2025 to 15 August 2025
The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

In the Derivative Risk Management Team, you may be involved in:
Assist in designing, developing, and deploying custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps (Canvas based)Support the development of automated workflows using Power AutomateCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutionsSupport the integration of PowerApps with other Microsoft tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate)Help create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBISupport the integration of PowerBI with various data sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, SharePoint)Assist in designing and customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflowsSupport the team in managing Jira and ConfluenceDesign automation to enhance existing workflowsDocument technical specifications, design documents, user guides, training materials and procedural manualsIn the Group Operational Risk Management Team, you may be involved in:
Support on the design, development, and testing of BCM System new features and functionality enhancement projects aimed at:
Critical Staff and Dependency Automated Notifications promoting a more pro-active BCM approach to changes affecting recoverability of plansEmail notification to be sent to Critical Staff with information on next step to take and expectations as critical staffEmail notification to be sent to BCCs when their departments are added as a dependency or when the RTO requirements of dependency business functions changesIntegration and Automation between the business continuity planning templates Integration and Automation between BIA/BCP/Testing workflows/templates ensuring direct integration with the golden data sources(Workday/ IT system repository)In the Group Technology Risk Management Team, you may be involved in:
Assist in identifying and evaluating technology risks, including cybersecurity, data, system lifecycle, and architecture risksAssist in maintaining documentation related to risk management processes and controlsAssist in monitoring and tracking of key risk indicators (KRIs)Support the development of risk management frameworks, policies, and proceduresAssist in coordinating cross-functional teams to as part of project management supportOrganise and prepare minutes for meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to Tech Risk Management (e.g. Biweekly TRM meeting, Quarterly TRM Network calls)What you will need:
Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of studyExcellent teammate and curious learnerAbility to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environmentStrong command of written and spoken English and ChineseStrong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft OfficeShortlisted candidates will be invited for interview in March / April 2025
