The Apprenticeship scheme is a four year programme that combines learning on the job, formal training, and optimum support. It is open to individuals with A-levels, who have chosen not to pursue a degree. You will work for four days a week and have a mandatory study day each week. **What is the opportunity?** Join our dynamic People team, supporting colleagues across various business areas. It's a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll work alongside experienced professionals passionate about people, including HR Business Partners and experts in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, People Operations, and DE&I. Our team collaborates closely to make CBRE successful and enjoys plenty of fun along the way. This apprenticeship includes four or five rotations, leading to a Level 5 Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institution of Personnel and Development. Throughout the program, you'll develop skills in supporting leaders and managers, providing appropriate support and advice based on business needs, and ensuring compliance with employment law. You'll gain a solid understanding across all HR disciplines, legislation, and the organization's HR policies and processes. **What will you be doing?** + Support employee lifecycle queries and processes, including family-friendly policies, work experience, and leavers. + Ensure data integrity and accuracy and lead data generation and analysis. + Act as a point of contact for our people services team, sending instructions and handling queries. + Participate in employee relations conversations and minute-taking, such as grievance and performance management. + Support the delivery of your team's initiatives and meetings. + Balance desk work with business meetings. + Develop confidence in handling general queries and translating policies to employees. + Enhance and streamline HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness. + Engage in challenging conversations with support from advisors/Business Partners, ensuring alignment with our RISE values. + To maximise learning, we ask all of our next generation cohort to be in the office on each of their working days + You may from time to time be required to work additional hours as are necessary **Person Specification/Requirements** + A forward-thinking and enthusiastic individual with a passion for real estate & the built-environment + Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills + Strong work ethic and proactive with a positive attitude + Attention to detail, accuracy and good time management + A minimum of 5 GCSES Grade C (or 4) or above including English and Mathematics. (or equivalent Maths and English qualifications). + 3 A Levels preferably including Mathematics and a Science, or related discipline. Alternatively, BTEC Extended Diploma with grades MMM or BTEC Diploma with grades DD.
