Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer and or Mechanical Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Dulles, VA.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Tactical System.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Mechanical Engineer:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. 

Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field 

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile) 

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher

Basic Qualifications for Mechanical Engineer:

Be completing or has completed their masters Degree from an accredited institution. 

Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher

Salary Range:

Associate Engineer:67,400.00 - 101,000.00

Engineer: 81,300.00 - 121,900.00
