2025 BMCC, Summer Sustainability & Impact Coordinator (4 months)

Job Summary

How would you like to spend your summer helping RBC and its employees make a positive impact in the community? RBC, with RBC Foundation and RBC Foundation USA, support communities around the globe in many ways, including through donations, community sponsorships and employee volunteerism.

As the Summer Sustainability & Impact Coordinator, you will support initiatives and programs that help our communities prosper. Working with teams across the Sustainability & Impact division, you will support the administration of multiple programs that enable RBC employees to volunteer in their communities. You will also help build and maintain websites that provide tools and resources to charitable organizations and the communities they support. In addition, you will support the execution of RBC brand activations at community partner events and maintain Sustainability & Impact-focused internal and external websites.

Job Description

What will you do? ​

Support the administration of the Communities Together Fund program to enable employees to participate in team volunteerismMaintain charity databasesCreate employee impact program resources, including process guides, and manage employee program-related inquiriesSupport the creation of a new community utility resource site by sourcing content and contributing to web designSupport the execution of marketing activations and community partner events Support updating content across Sustainability & Impact internal and external websites

Must-have

Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong personal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and within a team environmentHighly organized with an attention to detailProficient in the full suite of Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPointAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines

Nice-to-have

Working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications or SustainabilityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPrevious experience in event planning or marketing activationsPrevious experience in content management

Please note: 

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either: 

Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
