MBA Diversity Fellowship

RBC Capital Markets is committed to fostering workplace diversity and inclusion, and we are proud to offer the MBA Diversity Fellowship for talented first year MBA students in pursuit of a 2025 Global Investment Banking summer internship.

Following receipt and acceptance of an internship offer, fellowship recipients will receive a US$40,000* award in addition to the summer associate salary. Upon successful completion of the summer internship and acceptance of a full-time offer, fellowship recipients will receive an additional US$40,000* in addition to any applicable signing bonuses.

*Total reward not including applicable deductions

Eligibility:

Full-time or part-time MBA student graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026People who identify as female, LGBTQ+, Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/Indigenous, or Veteran

RBCCM U.S. Summer Associate Program

Each year, we invite rising second-year MBA students to join our Global Investment Banking (GIB) platform for a 10-week U.S. Summer Associate Program. The program provides an opportunity for you to experience the culture and atmosphere of RBC Capital Markets and experience the role of a full-time Associate.

What will you do?

GIB provides a complete suite of strategic advisory services, as well as equity and debt capital raising capabilities for leading corporations, institutions and governments. RBC Capital Markets’ investment banking platform focuses on nine core industries and seven product groups:

Industries:

Communications, Media and Entertainment (CME)Consumer/RetailEnergyFinancial Services (FIG)HealthcareIndustrials/AutomotivePower & Utilities/InfrastructureReal EstateTechnology

Similar to full-time GIB Associates, summer associates will spend their time:

Working on a variety of live transactions and client-facing business development initiatives in all areas of GIBDeveloping and preserving complex financial modelsContributing to the delivery of client meetings and presentationsConducting research to analyze market trendsResearching and analyzing future opportunities

What do you need to succeed?

In selecting summer associates, we look for the following:

Students in their penultimate year of study at an accredited 2-year MBA program2+ years’ work post-undergraduate work experienceAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environmentValue and possess strong competency in the following behaviors: Collaboration, Relationship Building, Communication, Integrity and Operating with Diverse and Inclusive MindsetWell-rounded set of interests and extra-curricular activities beyond academics

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $175,000 depending on factors including but not limited to: the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. RBC’s compensation philosophy and principles recognize the importance of a highly qualified global workforce and plays a critical role in attracting, engaging and retaining talent that:
