The work our team does directly impacts the perception held by DIRECTV current and future customers and employees and provides meaningful value for areas like earned media, social media, employee communications, community engagement and more.

You’ll get the chance to finetune and develop your writing skills as you work on projects that are designed to drive the transformation and future of DIRECTV. Wherever you may land, you will get the chance to put your education and skills to the test and see real world effects!

In this role, you may work on:

Writing and managing blog contentSocial media strategy and executionWriting and developing social media contentDeveloping media pitches and press releases

Majors/Concentrations we’re looking for:

CommunicationsJournalismBusiness or related majors

Skills and Experience:

Passion for writingExperience with social media (business or creator account)Proficiency with various design tools (Photoshop, Canva, Smartsheet, calendar apps), is a bonusExperience working on the backend of a Content Management System (CMS), is a bonusWell-organized and able to prioritizeSkillful in written and verbal communicationSelf-motivated and able to hold oneself accountable to tasksExperience writing for blogs or social content, is a bonus

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

10 week internship program. 6/2/25 - 8/8/25 or 6/16/25 - 8/22/25.

Position requires full US work authorization now and in the future.

This position can earn $19 - $20 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers.
