Locations: Nashua, New Hampshire; Berlin, Connecticut; Hadley, Massachusetts

The 2025 Eversource Engineering Professional Development Program is designed to provide our Associate Data Scientist with an opportunity for career development, training, and varied work experience. The program is 2 years in duration and provides everyone an opportunity to gain experience working in at least two different engineering areas. The program will start in June 2025.

System Planning has the task of making sure that Eversource’s future bulk power system serves our customers safely and reliably and meets applicable reliability National and local State Interconnection Standards. The group must look ahead between 1 and 10 years into the future to determine what upgrades are needed in order for the transmission and distribution system to comply with the local State regulatory requirements as well as complying with National and Regional Standards.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Experience with code development in MATLAB is required.Experience with the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox and Database Toolbox in MATLAB are preferred.

Education: BS degree in Engineering, (Electrical or Mechanical) or Data Science

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program.  The annual salary range for this position is $76,980.00 to $80,000, plus incentive.  Salary is commensurate with your experience.  Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.

Working Conditions:

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
