We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented individuals for our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in EHS practices and policies within a professional setting. The intern will support the EHS team in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment, participating in various projects, and contributing to the development and implementation of safety and environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Support the development and updating of EHS policies, procedures, and training materials.Help in tracking and analyzing EHS metrics and preparing reports for management.Participate in incident investigations and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.Assist in coordinating and conducting EHS training sessions for employees.Support environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, recycling programs, and energy conservation efforts.Assist in maintaining EHS records, permits, and documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.Knowledge of basic EHS principles and practices is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
