Job Description:At Regions, the Intern works on department assignments while learning more about the financial services industry. As an intern, you will experience Regions’ values while receiving job skills and training, personal development, and networking opportunities. Regions offers college internship opportunities within various departments.
Primary Responsibilities
Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industryExposed to a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetingsProvides assistance in projectsGains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful careerResponsibilities will vary by internshipThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experienceAbility to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeksRegions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. At Regions, the Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting department initiatives while learning more about the financial services industry. Interns will complete projects aligning to strategic objectives and have exposure to senior executives. Interns will also participate in training sessions, networking opportunities, and social activities throughout the summer.
The Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data Intern will gain experience applying their technical, analytical, or business skills through placement in one of the following potential areas:
Data EngineeringData Management Digital BankingLending OperationsSoftware Engineering
Additional Requirements:
College student pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree majoring in computer science, MIS, business, or other related degrees Ability to work 40 hours a week for 11 weeks
