Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time.  Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers.  Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.  Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines:  Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.

What You Will Do:

Life Cycle Engineering seeks entry-level engineers based out of Woburn, MA to support the Air and Space Defense System (ASDS) Sensor programs. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the system life cycle including:

Assessing proposed designs and ensuring compliance to requirementsInterpreting data and analyzing results from fielded systemsPresenting to internal and external stakeholders at program meetingsWorking with cross functional and integrated product teams to solve complex problems during program design and executionSupporting the proposal process in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for incoming LCE workTracking Earned Value (EV) and providing accurate status on the schedule and budget for your responsible scope

This job is based at Raytheon’s Woburn facility and is posted as ONSITE.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciplineThis position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internshipsThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

GPA of 3.0 or higherExperience working in a professional environment such as internships or co-ops and/or on project teamsStrong analytical and communication skills; ability to present to diverse audiences and work collaboratively across disciplines

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
