Job Summary:

The Ground Radars & Platforms Center within Systems Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers to support the Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis.

You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program.

This position is an onsite role in Andover, MA. About 20% travel is expected to support test events with the ability to support testing on multiple shifts.

What You Will Do:

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary teamOperate our systems, as well as related simulators/stimulatorsIdentify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging/troubleshooting and data analysisIntegrate hardware or software into a tactical system, and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changesDevelop integration documentation, execute plans and procedures, process and analyze data, and communicate resultsCommunicate with internal and/or external stakeholdersTravel to support mission execution at applicable facility, test site, vendor, and/or customer location

What You Will Learn:

After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Experience with hands-on troubleshooting, root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verificationExperience with tools, such as MATLAB or Python, for data analysis and automation

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in systems, software, and/or integration & testExperience using DOORS or other requirements management toolsExperience support test events with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
