Grace is excited to announce our 2025 Summer Internship Program. Your internship project could be focused on one or more of the following disciplines: Engineering/Process Technology; Environmental, Health and Safety; Research & Development; Maintenance and Reliability; and Capital Management.
These intern projects address Grace's day-to-day business needs and the work you accomplish will be an integral part for creating solutions and/or streamlining processes.
No matter what business and project you support, an internship at Grace is guaranteed to provide you with valuable work experience that will allow you to further define career and personal aspirations. Additionally, you will participate in networking and professional development activities!
General Internship Details:
Duration - 12 weeks (May - August)
Potential locations include Columbia or Curtis Bay, MD; Chattanooga, TN; Chicago, IL; East Chicago, IN; Pasadena, TX; Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Norco, LA; South Haven, MI; Tyrone, PA
Paid Hourly
Projects will be on-site or hybrid
All students will be provided an hourly rate plus a $3,000 stipend

Required Qualifications Applicants MUST: be entering their junior, senior year or currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related science or engineering field. have a minimum of a cumulative 3.0 grade point average. have ability to work the entire duration of the program without any interruptions, except for company holidays (May - August)#WRGRACE
Preferred Qualifications Clear and excellent communication skills Ability to learn and adapt to new environments Interest in Grace's Manufacturing Leadership Program (if eligible - read more here) Experience working with MS SuiteExamples of Past Technical Internship Projects Research and development - Synthesize, Purify and characterize small organic molecules for testing as new catalyst components CBM Automated Reporting - Develop a process to automatically collect condition-based monitoring data in real time on machine health and communicate key performance indicators about bad actors before failure Metrics Scorecard and Reporting Rollout - Assist in the design and development of new manufacturing metric reports Site Winterization Planning - Assist in planning for winterization of the site including generating a list of items, planning and ordering materials New Product Development and Pilot-Scale Equipment Support - Develop fundamental knowledge of laboratory-scale and pilot-scale synthesis of catalysts
