Start your career today and find out where you fit into the global food supply chain and the mission to feed the world.   Responsibilities:  Will provide support to the HR department Learn all departments of Human Resources including: Hiring, On-Boarding, Orientation, EEOC, Recruitment, Community Relations, Investigations, Training & Development, Technical Training, Talent Development, Payroll, Policy Enforcement, etc. Brainstorm ideas to improve programs which could potentially focus on recruitment, retention, recognition, policy enforcement, etc. Learn/observe the relationship and dynamics with the Local Union Potentially shadow investigations which could result in discipline and/or termination Understand the basics of absenteeism and turnover metrics:  How they are measured and why they are of importance Understanding Staffing and Crewing, including Available to Standard Work with Operations to ensure policies are being adhered to Gain valuable insight on how the entire operations is impacted by each other Assist in coordinating and implementing engagement surveys with the workforce and co-workers of the facility (Glint) Be exposed to Performance Management, including: evaluations, promotions, merit, etc. Complete and present a project related to issues within the HR department   What to expect:  A chance to connect with and learn from our company’s executive leadership team throughout the course of your internship program Exposure to multiple areas of the business to give you a well-rounded understanding of the overall production process A mentor who’s invested in your success, and will provide feedback and coaching The chance to prove yourself in a highly rewarding industry A multicultural work environment that stands on its values and puts its people first The opportunity to develop your technical and business knowledge alongside industry experts Regular leadership training sessions with our world-class leadership development instructors Projects driven by business objectives with real-world implications Potential for accelerated growth within our company by providing early access to career development programs 

Qualifications: 

Enrolled in four year university or pursuing a Bachelor's DegreeMinimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higherThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation: $21/hour with $2,500 relocation stipend if applicable.  The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
