The intern will learn and support both existing engineering development programs and new business capture. The intern will learn and apply Raytheon industry-leading tools, processes and technologies to hardware, software and large-scale system of systems prototypes, modeling and simulation and other exciting fields. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience in working in a teamwork environment, having not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. Additionally, the candidate should possess an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to complement their academic experience.  What You Will Do + Applying your academic knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team. + Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads. Qualifications You Must Have + Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) major. + This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Freshman year by the start of summer 2025. + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
