We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering/Computer Science student with a focus on developing software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance applications and will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for complex systems and applicationsWork with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.Functional analysis of real world and test dataDemonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.Ensure technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables.Work alongside other members of the software team to analyze and develop software verification test cases and procedures.What You Will Learn:
A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures.Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.Qualifications You Must Have:
Must be pursuing a BS (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics (STEM).This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2025.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide input to presentations to non-technical participants.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:
GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale.Experience developing GUI software using Java.Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology.Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit and Rational Team Concert.Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with technical, customer and senior leadership audiences.Self-motivated.Proven ability and desire to facilitate knowledge transfer.Experience in software development.Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues.Familiarity with MS Office.What We Offer:

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
