Job Summary:

Test Equipment Engineering Team (TEE) oversees the hands‑on integration, verification and validation of our systems and products. We develop test environments based on requirements from engineering and production to assist with product test and deployment, including embedded test implementations, hardware‑in‑the‑loop, computer‑in‑the‑loop, system-level development environments and advanced engineering prototyping technology. We use test strategies and architectures, processes, standards, and expertise to ensure our products are ready for use in everything from subsystems to integrated deployed systems.

Our team of talented engineers work jointly across disciplines from initial concepts to product sell off, integrates complex technology, debugs, and resolves interface issues, evaluates system performance, demonstrates, and sells off state-of-the-art products for areas including radars, command and control platforms, missile systems, and cyber defense.

Our teams contribute through all phases of the product development lifecycle, within an interdisciplinary process that ensures the customer and warfighters needs are satisfied through every stage. This dedication to excellence can include opportunities for travel, and flexible hours/shifts to ensure programmatic milestones are met. Due to the nature of our work, all roles will require on-site presence at one or more of our facilities.

This position is an onsite role.

Qualifications You Must Have

This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Senior year by the start of summer 2025.Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. (STEM)The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

 Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with Functional analysis, functional verification testing, and troubleshooting of test stations.Experience with C++, LabView, Test Stand.ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
