Job Summary: The Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ is a multi-discipline organization responsible for designing, building and integrating state of the art testing environments (flight simulators for missiles), as the last step before flight test.  On our team, you will work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support tactical software development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.  This position is an onsite role This position can be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate Technical Intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below: + (Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Sophomore by start of internship + (Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship + (Senior Technical Intern)- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship + (Post-Graduate Technical Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship What You Will Do: + Work on a multi-disciplined team to support systems integration + Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment + Work in a lab environment integrating software, firmware and hardware in support of complex systems Qualifications You Must Have: + This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of summer 2025 + Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
