2025 Internship – AI Software Engineering
Description Are you passionate about collaborating with technology to deliver cloud-based solutions? Do you have an interest in learning how to build and deploy systems in the Cloud? If you are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering or another related degree and want to gain experience in the areas of system development, business analysis, data engineering/analytics/visualization, or model-based engineering – we’d love to have you join our team! We are seeking an intern to join our System and Servers group to build, test and deploy capabilities that enable migrating data and systems to the cloud. As a member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to learn and perform software implementation of proof-of-concept incorporating migrating data to the cloud and perform analysis on the datasets. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams responsible for ensuring business and engineering applications are able to support the core functions of the organization and applicable user communities. You will get hands-on experience with report building, automated compliance messaging, and other impactful projects, with opportunities to contribute to initiatives like revamping our internal informational website. The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
