Responsibilities The Procurement & Supply Chain intern will support the Supply chain department with a variety of tasks to meet the goals HighgateMonitors and manages supplier service performance and ensures sourcing decisions are consistent with company objectives.Responsible for commercial terms of contract lifecycle process.Partners with the Legal team for contract review and execution.Performs additional ad hoc projects and supports other categories as required.Maintain a strong working relationship with Accounting, Operations, and Operations Procurement to ensure seamless integration between departments.Identifies and develops new/current suppliers who have the capacity and capability to meet the cost quality and service needs of the business.Collaborates with the business on the development and reporting of KPIs. Administer supplier assessments and other analytics to manage supplier performance. Communicates with the supply chain on all pertinent issues and expedites as required.The intern requires a range of practical and people skills, as well as knowledge of organizational policies and proceduresMust be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. Qualifications Pursuing a college degree/graduate degree in Finance or Accounting, Procurement Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or comparable professional experience requiredAbility to effectively communicate and work in a team environmentProactive in accomplishing tasksWe are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role has direct involvement with field marketing and corporate marketing, outstanding communication skills are required. Salary - $20/hr
