The Position:
Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC, is seeking an Analyst to join the Strategy and Business Transformation team as part of the 2025 Kaufman Hall Analyst Program. The Strategy practice helps define our healthcare clients’ enterprise strategy, align organizational design and operations with strategic goals, facilitate strategic partnerships, and link strategic vision to measurable financial objectives.
The Strategy practice is seeking self-motivated, intellectually curious professionals with a genuine interest in healthcare to join our 2025 Kaufman Hall Analyst Program. This program provides Analysts interested in solving complex business problems, identifying differentiation strategies, and being a trusted advisor the opportunity to work with our enterprise-level healthcare clients to help solve some of their most pressing issues. During the course of the Analyst Program, Analysts will be staffed on client engagements and support the delivery of strategic, financial, and operational-related services to our clients, working alongside Associates, Senior Associates, AVPs, VPs, SVPs, and Managing Directors.
Following an initial three-week training and onboarding period of intensive classroom training on the current healthcare landscape (Healthcare 101) and core skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), Analysts will be staffed on multiple client engagements.
Primary Responsibilities:Supporting multiple Strategy engagements at any given timeCreating and applying industry-leading solutions to the most challenging strategic and organizational issues facing our clientsDeveloping, analyzing, and interpreting advanced client data Excel modelsKeeping apprised of projects to ensure critical milestones are met, timelines are adhered to, and changes are properly communicated Assisting practice with development of internal documents / business development tasksScheduling client meetings, drafting agendas, taking and circulating meeting notes, and fulfilling other client management support rolesBuilding presentations and completed work product to be presented to clients and Board membersSupporting the needs of the practice beyond client-specific work as requiredDelivering high quality work with integrityQualifications:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong history of academic excellence and leadership, personally and professionally. In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following attributes:Highly intelligent and intellectually curiousExcellent analytical and quantitative skillsSolid technical and analytical computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other analytical toolsSelf-motivated; ability to take initiative on assigned project components Excellent interpersonal skills and good presentation skillsA career-motivated professional who is energetic and possesses a superb work ethicA high degree of integrity and strong moral and ethical standardsWillingness and ability to travel, sometimes on short notice, up to 80% of the timeApplicants for employment must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kaufman Hall (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)Education:Bachelor’s degree from a top tier University with a concentration in business, finance, accounting, analytics, economics and/or healthcare administration is strongly preferred Physical requirements: Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodationsWork is generally done sitting, talking, hearing and typing.
