Job Description
*Program to start in June 2025*
The goal of the Olympus Corporation of the Americas Rotational Development Program (OCA RDP) is to develop and train early talent through targeted rotational assignments and learning opportunities in one of our many business units and functions.
Participants in the RDP will be immersed in hands-on training with functional subject matter experts and business leaders who will provide both mentoring and guidance throughout the program. This program is designed as a two-year rotation (three eight-month assignments) in a specific business area or corporate function. At the conclusion of the two-year program, the RDP participant will be placed full-time in one of the relevant rotational function areas, as determined by business need and as directed by executive management.
This role is based out of our Center Valley, PA office and has a starting annual salary of $53,875
Job DutiesThe Rotational Development Program allows for a wide view of OCA business groups and shows the program participant how each area of the business function supports the overall company goals and strategies. Perform all other related duties as assigned. RDP participants will also participate in a series of learning activities centered around professional development and business acumen.
Olympus’ Medical Solutions Group marketing leads the development and deployment of commercial strategies and tactics that drive growth within our innovative and market-leading product platforms. Launching new products, maximizing the impact of existing products, and managing the commercial success of our portfolio are all key aspects of our team. We partner cross functionally within several teams including sales, communications, professional education, and others in the Americas and globally to create and innovate.
The Rotational Development Program – Medical Product Marketing focus – will consist of rotations in Product Marketing – Gastro-Intestinal (GI), Product Marketing – EndoTherapy, and Commercial Operations.
In Product Marketing Rotations you will assist with:
The definition, development, and commercialization of new products and services and collaborate with regional market colleagues to ensure solutions are commercially successful through appropriate pricing, targeting, and product feature set availability. Quantifying and qualifying global market opportunities for assigned product lines including addressable market size, clinical data landscapes, reimbursement landscapes, commercial model, and pricing strategies. Developing market models that reflect market size, opportunity, share capture, key assumptions revenue projections and pricing on a regional and global level. Developing market messages that promote and differentiate Olympus’ broad endoscopy portfolio to both increase brand awareness for market-leading products and create brand awareness for others. Providing product information for marketing materials; review collateral and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness; develop/deliver launch packages and training.
Commercial Operations
Operationalize key sales and marketing strategies by evaluating enablement tools and developing internal processes, customer communications, and KPI reports in collaboration with Commercial Operations teams. Job QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree is required, with the degree being obtained no more than 24 months prior to the RDP cohort start date. Program is limited to undergraduate or graduate degrees only.
