See Yourself as a Procurement and Vendor Management Intern
As a Summer Intern on the Procurement and Vendor Management (P&VM) Team, you will have the opportunity to learn, interact, and assist in various aspects of procurement and vendor management lifecycle by providing support for processes and projects. P&VM Interns may assist with projects across the department including contracting, request for proposals, due diligence as well as P&VM technology initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
You will work on various projects and initiatives. These may include:
Process Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive process documentation that outlines procurement workflows, procedures, and best practices.
Job Aides and Templates: Develop user-friendly job aids and templates to streamline procurement activities and ensure consistency across the team and organization.
Contract Categorization: Organize and categorize vendor and supplier contract information to improve accessibility and efficiency.
Testing AI Tools: Participate in the evaluation and testing of AI tools to enhance procurement processes, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Partnering with Buyers: Collaborate with procurement buyers to support the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring that all procurements meet quality and cost requirements.
Process Improvement: Support projects around process improvements and documentation.
Assist: Assist in the procurement process and support vendor management activities, including the preparation and issuance of purchase orders and contracts.
You will have the opportunity to support department-wide initiatives and programs.
You will learn and become familiar with a variety of technologies used thought the P&VM department.
Prior Work Experience: Less than 6 months
Education and Credentials:
Required: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in supply chain management, finance, business, or similar focus.
Currently enrolled in a College/University program upcoming senior, or graduate student
Prior experience or coursework in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and teams.
A creative and proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
A positive and flexible attitude, with the willingness to learn and grow.

Program Requirements
Interns will be required to participate in specific workshops and events in addition to their intern duties assigned by their people leader. This includes a 3-day in-person event held July 22-24, 2025, at our Wayne, PA headquarters.
