Professional Apprenticeship – Trainee Security Engineer
We're looking for bright and motivated school leavers who will bring energy, new ideas and a fresh perspective to help us become the recognised leader and transform the construction and engineering industry.
Through our unique approach we are setting higher standards for our industry, we are redefining the future of construction.
In response to recent regulatory changes, we're building our capability and competence around Fire Safety in Buildings, which is critical to delivering safe buildings during construction and in use. As a result of this, there are new roles developing in the industry, with passive fire protection (PFP) becoming a specialist area of integration throughout design, delivery, and handover of projects. This creates an unusually dynamic career opportunity at entry level.
PFP is an integral component of a fire safety strategy and forms an essential element of the fire protection and fire safety in a building. PFP systems are used to slow and prevent the spread of fire and smoke between fire compartment walls and floors. PFP impacts on all aspects of building design and is often a critical interface between the architecture, structure and building services systems.
If you're curious about: technical design, collaboration, package delivery, quality, innovation, and knowledge sharing, then this role will be an interest to you.
