**Aerotek is looking for a Commercial Electrician!** **Prevailing wage work paying upwards of $70/hr!** **Job Description** As an Electrician, you will be responsible for roughing in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided. Your tasks will include terminating wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. You will also wire instruments that control power, lighting, and heating units in buildings, as well as provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. This role requires the use of power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders. **Responsibilities** + Rough in conduit and wiring in new commercial buildings. + Terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. + Wire instruments controlling power, lighting, and heating units. + Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. + Utilize power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of proven experience with a commercial electrical contractor on relevant projects. + OSHA 10 certification. + Proficiency in conduit, wiring, and conduit bending. + Ownership of basic hand tools and hand benders. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with 227V and 480V systems. + Proficiency in conduit, rigid conduit, pulling wire, pipe bending, and outlet wiring. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers work on publicly funded projects that often include prevailing wage jobs.
