We are offering an exciting internship opportunity as a Junior Merchant Onboarding Specialist, where you'll help **streamline our processes, onboard new merchants, and drive their success on UberEats.** By joining our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that merchants get off to a great start, optimize the onboarding process, setting up their account properly, ensuring they are educated, while generating engagement with our tools like ads and offers. **What Will You Do:** - **Merchant Onboarding:** Support the onboarding process for new restaurant and store partners by ensuring timely setup, accurate menu uploads, and clear communication. - **Optimization & Engagement:** Help merchants optimize their menus, pricing, and photo coverage to enhance the customer experience. Drive engagement through promotional tools like ads and offers. - **Training & Support:** Schedule and conduct activation and training calls to ensure merchants understand how to use the platform and are equipped to succeed. - **Data Tracking:** Use internal tracking tools to monitor the onboarding progress, merchant performance, and identify any areas for improvement. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding and ensure that merchants are fully supported during their ELC phase. - **Process Improvement:** Identify inefficiencies in the current onboarding process and propose improvements to enhance speed and quality, driving better merchant performance. **Basic Qualifications:** - Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s  in a business, marketing, communications, or a related field. degree program for the full duration of the internship - Available to start on 3rd February 2025 and work full-time for 6 months - Work authorisation in Portugal- No visa sponsorship is available for internships - Language Proficiency: Portugues  \[Native\], Fluent English. - Graduation Timeline: Summer 2025 - Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite (Word, Excel, Slides/PowerPoint). **Preferred Qualifications:** - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Self-starter with a proactive attitude and attention to detail. - Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus - Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or project management tools is advantageous. - Knowledge of the food delivery industry. - Interest in digital marketing, particularly related to ads and promotions. **What We Offer:** - Hands-on experience working with a dynamic and diverse team. - Exposure to the fast-growing food delivery industry. - Opportunity to learn and develop new skills in onboarding, sales, and merchant engagement. - A collaborative and fun working environment where your contributions are valued.
