We are thrilled to share this fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre student to join our Commercial department in our Sales Enablement team on a 12-month placement. This placement is ideally suited to a student currently undertaking a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a required 12-month year in industry placement as part of your degree. \n\nFrom day one, our placement students are fully integrated into Team Hilton and are involved in different aspects of the business. Our placements offer vast exposure and opportunities, such as the opportunity to network with senior executives, involvement in regional conferences and for some, international travel. \n\nBased in our EMEA headquarters, Watford, you will be part of a cohort of 50+ Interns and take part in regular connect meetings, short assignments and feedback sessions designed to support your development. You will benefit from a subsidised restaurant, a games area and a free in-house gym. \n \nThe Opportunity\nAs our Executive Sales Enablement Intern, you will collaborate with the Sales Enablement Centre of Excellence Team to support managed hotel commercial teams across EMEA. Your focus will be on driving commercial performance and fostering the personal development of team members.\n\nKey responsibilities include ensuring clear, effective communication plans are executed on time and that distribution lists and platforms are consistently updated with accurate, relevant assets. You'll also play a critical role in developing creative and engaging communication tools while managing key sales support projects throughout the year. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to assist in organizing national and international events, delivering messages, initiatives, and training to hotel commercial teams.\n \nResponsibilities\n\nImproving Performance Through Sales Tools and Content\n\n\nManage internal platforms, communication outlets, and distribution lists.\nDevelop, support, and deliver resources and tools to help property sales and GM&E team members optimize performance and professional growth.\nSupport customer engagement initiatives, enhancing how hotels collaborate with internal partners (e.g., Hilton Worldwide Sales) and external clients\nProvide performance analysis and reporting for regional and hotel-level commercial teams, therefore, a suitable candidate requires strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data imports, formulas, formatting).\nConduct and coordinate mystery shopper inquiries to monitor enquiry-handling performance.\nCreate and distribute original content, including video editing and advanced PowerPoint designs (e.g., tables, charts) while staying up to date with social media trends and platform capabilities.\n\n\nOptimizing Planning Processes\n\n\nMaintain content on internal platforms for the Centre of Excellence Sales Operations Team, ensuring the delivery of relevant and engaging materials.\nOversee and update the calendar of activities for EMEA Sales and GM&E initiatives.\nManage and activate key distribution lists effectively.\n\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n\n\nPartner with teams across various functions, such as Brand Performance Support, Training, Marketing, Regional Commercial Support, and Sales Leaders, to align and ensure project relevance.\nLeverage opportunities to network and gain insight into multiple departments across Hilton, including Operations, Hotel and Regional sales teams, Hilton Worldwide Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Learning and Development, Brand Performance, and more.\n\n\n\nWhy choose us?\nEmbarking on our year in industry programme is a transformative journey, encompassing a structured framework of learning and development activities. As an intern in this team, you will be required to work from the office at least one day per week. However, you are welcome and encouraged to visit the office on additional days if you wish.\n\n\nWhat are we looking for?\n\n\nFirst and foremost, Hilton is a hospitality company, and we are looking for individuals with a strong sense of alignment to our culture and values. \nMust be a current Bachelor’s or Master’s student with a required 12-month year in industry placement as part of your degree, Hospitality or Business Management related degrees are preferred but not essential. \nMust be able to start on the 7th of July 2025, to work full-time for a 12-month duration. \nMust be eligible to work in the UK. If you are a non-UK national, without EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status then you will need to be studying at a UK university to be eligible to undertake a placement here. \nMust be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).\nThe ideal candidate will have at least an interest in hotel/hospitality industry if not relevant to your degree or any work experience you might have.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills. \nExceptionally organised and comfortable prioritising and working to deadlines. \nEffective planning & project management skills and capabilities. \nGeneral commercial awareness and understanding or drivers of commercial performance. \nStrong communication skills: presentations, written and public speaking. \nStrong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, data imports, formulas, formatting).\nFlexible with the ability to travel, if required (c. Maximum 10% travel). \n\n\n
