The Sales Team at UWM is integral to our position as the #1 overall mortgage lender in the nation. This dynamic and driven team is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with mortgage brokers and clients, contributing significantly to UWM's growth and success. The Sales Summer Internship Program is a hands-on, immersive experience designed to provide college students with practical knowledge and skills in sales and client relationship management. Interns will work closely with our Sales Team, gaining real-world experience in the mortgage industry and learning from industry leaders.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Assisting in building and maintaining strong relationships with mortgage brokers and clientsLearning how to use UWM’s Easiest Application System Ever (EASE), programs, products, guidelines, and processesParticipating in client meetings, calls, and presentations to understand their needs and provide effective solutionsWorking alongside your Account Executives to deliver up-to-date information about the latest products, resources, and industry updates Supporting the Sales Team in preparing sales materials, proposals, and presentationsAssisting in tracking sales metrics, analyzing performance data, and generating reports to support decision-makingConducting market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and provide insights and recommendations to the Sales Team based on research findingsGaining a thorough understanding of UWM's products and services, and effectively communicate their features and benefits to clientsWorking on a summer-long project adjacent to your business lane with other Summer Team Members WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2025 or 2026 (current junior/senior status)The ability to work Monday thru Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from the end of May to mid-AugustAn openness to learning, willingness to be coached, and ability to be flexible in our every-changing industryAbility to thrive in a team environmentA strong work ethicA drive to succeed THE PLACE & THE PERKSReady to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
