What It’s Like
In T-Mobile's Mobile Applications and Platform team, we work cross-functionally to understand the linkage between T-Mobile’s business goals, business architectures, and technology architectures – and strive to further T-Mobile’s business goals via organic or inorganic evolution of T-Mobile’s architectures.
Our team is dedicated to creating high-quality software solutions that serve over 20 million customers every month. We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Software Development Intern to join our team and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our applications.
What You’ll Do
As a Software Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced developers and gain hands-on experience with modern technologies. You will support the development and maintenance of an application that is used by over 20 million customer per month.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of application features using C#.
Work with Azure services to ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.
Utilize Cosmos DB for database management and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Document development processes and application updates.
What It Takes
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in C# or other object oriented programming languages.
Experience with cloud computing (experience with Azure is preferred).
Knowledge of Cosmos DB (or other NoSQL database) and database management principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
