Job PurposeDana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2025 Spring Commercial Vehicle Software Engineering Co-op position at their Sustainable Mobility Center (SMC) in Maumee, OH. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks/assignments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop software & control algorithms for electric vehicle systems using model-based and/or embedded-C software toolchain. Understand the requirements and develop software unit tests for production software verification. Develop Plant Model to verify/validate algorithm in Simulation / HIL. Support software integrated validation tests on bench, HIL (dSPACE Scalexio) and/or real vehicle. Assemble wire harnesses, circuit boards, control boxes, test fixtures, and other custom modules. Build, test, and troubleshoot automotive electronic components. Participate in Agile software development cycle. Support and work with applications and mechanical engineering cross-functional teams for validation of parts prior to shipment to customers
