2025 Spring Intern - Accounting

Spring Internships: Monday, January 6, 2025 (15-20/hours per week max)

The Accounting Intern may work on the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general Accounting team. This person is responsible for creating, processing and transmitting customer invoices, processing vendor invoices, and administratively supporting the Accounting team.

What You'll Do
Depending on specific team assignment, responsibilities may include any of the following:

Create, process and transmit customer invoicesReview vendor information, route new vendors for approval and enter into systemReview vendor invoices and submit for payment.Address questions from our external customers and vendorsLend support to internal customers and teams regarding Accounting principlesAssisting with other projects and financial matters as they arise


What You'll Need


Minimum Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Accounting or related program

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvementThe ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment is necessaryExceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlinesExperience processing invoices a strong plusExperience in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.


Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

Minimal travelReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
