About the role
As a Reworld intern, you will work on projects that have a real impact on sustainability. Students with a genuine interest in developing a career in sustainability are encouraged to apply!
What You'll Do
Update internal databases and reports using operations data to track environmental performance of our facilities.
Support the publication of environmental data to communicate our performance and sustainability information to stakeholders.
Assist in the analysis of Reworld’s operational and environmental data and present findings internally. Support development of tools to help communicate sustainability and environmental topics.
Conduct policy research to support government and community relations teams.
Support auditing of facility operations for conformance to corporate environmental programs.
Support internal sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, recycling, and educational events.
Who You Are
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering, science, policy or sustainability degree program with a focus or interest in environmental and sustainability issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Ability to multi-task
Detail-oriented with evidence of creative problem-solving approach
Strong team player
Positive attitude coupled with passion & willingness to learn
Strong general computer skills required, including experience with Excel and PowerPoint
