 2025 Summer Intern - Courseware Redesign for Commercial Education Programs

Department Summary

The Solutions Marketing and Commercial Academy Chapter within Marketing Communication & Innovation (MC&I) is a global team that utilizes our collective expertise to deliver impactful marketing and commercial learning initiatives that inspire customer action. Our Commercial Academy team architects learning programs that prepare affiliates worldwide to bring the latest diagnostic solutions to their customers and patients. 

This internship position is located in Indianapolis, IN (On-site).

 

The Opportunity

Review and revise existing commercial education courseware.

Critically audit existing modules.

Meticulously document comparisons, deviations, and necessary updates with a focus on providing learning value to marketing and sales roles.

Author/design-related job aids using an existing template.

Execute learning needs analysis interviews for three key digital biomarker products; propose a standard approach to address future modules at scale.

Collaborate with our learning consultants to develop and test a standard work approach.

Guide how we optimize time-to-publish for digital biomarker modules.

Support and contribute to the development and update of learning materials and assets, including recommendations for content placement within the existing internal training website.

Program Highlights

Intensive 12-week, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

Program start dates are in May/June (Summer).

A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are 

Required Education. You meet one of the following criteria:

 Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

 Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors: Education, Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.

Required Skills

Proficiency with eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise or Storyline (or similar).

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for learning.

An inclusive and respectful approach to working with diverse teams and perspectives.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with adult learning theories.

Working knowledge of medical, legal, and regulatory terminology.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. 

 The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $19-$30 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
